Description:
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and ensuring correctness of balance sheet incl. P&L of the tesa SE according IFRS and local GAAP (HGB)
- Ensure correct closing according IFRS and HGB and provide input for annual management report
- Financial planning / forecasting of various balance sheet positions
- Conducting financial analysis, including variance analysis on balance sheet and P&L positions, and trend analysis, to provide insights and recommendations to management for performance improvement
- Monitoring all balance sheet positions and initiating measurements to ensure IFRS and efficient processes and transactions
- Assisting in coordinating and providing support for internal and external audits of headquarters’ financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure tax compliance by ensuring correctness of VAT bookings
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization of financial operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
