JOB DESCRIPTION

To Samsung we are now looking for a Financial Accountant! The purpose of this role is to drive improvement of processes and regulatory compliance within Finance. Performing day to day tasks within the accounting team in a way to ensure the correctness of accounting processes. You will focus on salary, fixed assets and monthly closing part of the process.

You will have the following job scope and key deliverables:

• Evaluating and improving current work processes and system set-up in SENA accounting team.
• Drive implementation and confirm that the Finance process is compliant with Samsung Electronics Global Accounting Manual.
• Responsible for the Finance part of the payroll process for Denmark, Finland and Norway including cost analysis for this expense.
• Being part of the team that is responsible for performing monthly closing in an accurate and efficient way.
• Overall responsibility for Fixed assets process in SENA, acquisition, scrapping, stock counting etc.
• Coordinating external Audit in Norway and assisting in contact with Swedish auditors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have an academic degree in a relevant field such as finance or business administration.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in finance.
• You have experience of working in a global company with strict reporting deadlines.
• You are fluent in English and proficient i Swedish in speech and writing,
• Experience of working with Microsoft Excel and SAP is beneficial.
• Experience related to the salary process is benefical.
