We are committed to excellence, innovation, and fostering a collaborative work environment. As part of our expansion plan, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our finance team in LCC Group Head Office, Cookstown
Position Overview:
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and business strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a forward-thinking company in a key financial role.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
· Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience
· Newly qualified accountant looking for their first move to industry
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
· Effective communication skills
· Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
· Highly motivated – able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
· Preparation of support schedules and back up to the management accounts.
· Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into key financial metrics.
· Preparation and qualitative interpretation of Group and Divisional performance reporting.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
· Provide support for internal and external audits.
· Assist in completion of various monthly returns
· Ad-hoc duties as required
