Responsibilities:

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join our passionate and driven team based at our Ipswich office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and subsidiary statutory accounts under IFRS.
  • Become a finance system expert with the Group’s consolidated reporting system, Magnitude and provide support to the wider accounting team.
  • Prepare the monthly consolidated cashflow for the UK.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Provide support in the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns and CIS tax.
  • Assist the Head of Finance and FP&A Manager with reporting and projects.
  • Support the annual internal and external audits.
  • KPI reporting for future bids and tenders.
  • Support the Assistant Financial Accounts with tasks such as fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Be the first point of contact for any technical accounting requirement.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified or Part Qualified - ideally from a Practice background
  • Experience with reporting under IFRS
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Independent thinker, keen problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude
