We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant join our established and experienced Global Network team here at RSA Liverpool on a hybrid basis.
Your Role
The purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely completion of key financial reporting in order to support the efficient, compliant and accurate cashflow within the RSA/Intact Global Network operation, across various legal entities.
You will have responsibility for production of the Global Network Balance Sheet and Bank Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely submission to Finance. You will lead on all Debt Reporting within the Global Network team, consolidating updates from your colleagues and helping to drive focus and priorities. We are developing our reporting capabilities in this area and you will pay a key role in that process. In addition you will participate in the annual Operational Planning process forecasting Income and Expense for the business, and you will monitor progress against plan throughout the year.
You will also take responsibility for specific territories, partners, and internal business units to ensure efficient and compliant cashflow, owning the resolution of credit control issues with internal and external customers.
About You
To be successful in your role you will require experience in a finance, accounting or reporting function within the financial services industry. You will have knowledge of the production of revenue statements, balance sheets, bank account reconciliations and cashflow reports. You will also be well versed in the completion of operational plans for revenue, income and expenses.
You will be a qualified or part qualified accountant and a SIMA qualification would be desirable. Excellent SAP and Excel knowledge is essential for this role.
