Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years post-qualification experience, either in industry, professional services, or a combination of these
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent
  • VAT reporting and analysis
  • Managing T&E process and payment card programs
  • Experience in working in high pressure, fast moving environments
  • Ideally has some experience of the technology industry
  • Adept at spreadsheet analysis with strong personal and team organisation skills
  • Experience in Workday Financials is preferred, but not essential. Other systems used: Xero (historical), Navan T&E, Stripe, various banking interfaces

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • We are looking for a Financial Accountant on a contract basis available immediately to keep on top of the regular and increasing flow of tasks. You will have day to day oversight across multiple financial processes, legal entities and geographies. Based in our Notting Hill office, reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will join an experienced team of Finance professionals and have day-to-day responsibility for output of two financial analysts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibility for accounting entries and processing
  • Managing the monthly close process including production of monthly flash and management reporting
  • Supervision of 2 financial analysts handling the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes across five legal entities and geographies
  • Manage annual statutory reporting process (UK only) and other ad hoc reporting (including consolidated investor reporting)
  • Hands-on support for global payroll
  • Handling UK, EU, Canadian VAT compliance and reporting
  • Identify process optimisation and continuous improvement mindset (using the Workday environment)
  • Following up with internal stakeholders confidently to investigate discrepancies and drive resolutions
