REPORTING TO: HEAD OF FINANCE

Job description: An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Superior Wellness team based at our Head Office in Chesterfield.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity, perhaps for a first-time mover from practice, who has had exposure to businesses who both import and export goods globally, legal & tax compliance and treasury management. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our growing business. Your expertise will contribute to the strategic decision-making process and ensure our financial health as we continue to expand.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in practice, ideally with exposure to SME clients.
  • Previous experience with import/export financial management and compliance is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax.
  • An understanding or exposure of oversees tax including VAT and US sales tax is preferred
  • Experience in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting and foreign exchange.
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software and systems (experience with Xero is an advantage).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
