Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Accountant - Tax, the primary objective of the role is to collate required information for corporate tax, FBT, and BAS, along with preparing lodgment of recurring taxation filings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

Assisting on Transfer Pricing, CFC, Freight Tax and other related matters
Accounting of tax provisions, including deferred taxes, GST clearing and reconciliation of taxation specific balance sheet accounts
Quarterly tax provision preparation / group reporting
Collaborate with respective team on tax payments
Assist with response to queries raised by professional advisors and relevant authorities
Provide support to management on adhoc enquiries
Taxation compliance management – maintenance of lodgement registers and proactive compliance monitoring

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

Degree in Accounting
CPA/CA or any other professional accounting qualifications
5-7 years experience with at least 4 years in corporate tax and Financial Accounting, Reporting, Tax, GST etc. with exposure to multi national entities (as an advisor or in industry)
Highly developed computer and spreadsheet skills
Advanced level of Excel required
Exposure to BI reporting tools and ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP)
