In this role, you will be collaborating with the Management Accounting and Finance Teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, audits, and controls, while acting as a deputy for the Head of Management Accounting as needed. Key responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of balance sheet accounts, particularly deferred revenue and debtors, and driving continuous improvement in finance processes. The position also entails supporting the accurate reporting of the University’s income, enhancing internal controls related to revenue recognition, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Additionally, the role includes developing a small team, optimising financial systems and controls which complies with all relevant legislation and accounting standards, and engaging in ongoing finance transformation initiatives.
