QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential with appropriate post qualification experience

  • Up to date, working knowledge of IFRS, FRS 102 and financial audit approaches
  • Experience reviewing business processes in a large corporate or PLC setting
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to work under time pressure during busy periods for the business
  • Experienced in MS Office
  • Ability to handle and protect confidential documents

WHAT’S THIS ROLE ABOUT?

A Financial Accounting– Process Transformation Lead is a broad role which will require an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the group’s finance function. Given the company’s geographic expansion and exciting growth trajectory, the successful candidate will play a leading role in refining our processes to ensure that they are best in class – as appropriate to support a dynamic, progressive scaling company.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will also play a role in the day-to-day operational finance activities of the company – activities to include financial reporting, forecasting, working capital management and tax.

  • Strong inter personnel skills with an ability to support and influence senior financial and operational colleagues
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office applications ( in particular Excel )
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential to perform this role
  • Experience with data base accounting and management reporting systems together with working experience technical industries (e.g. the Financial Services sector) would be an advantage
