Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Associate for our Financial Services client in Vancouver. Our client is a boutique financial firm that provides a full-service approach, focusing on financial planning and superior investment management, education, and community outreach. The successful Financial Associate will join a high performing team and work with a diverse client base. The Financial Associate must be securities licensed as a Registered Representative with CIRO and must hold or be in the process of an advanced finance or investment qualification such as CFP, CIM, CFA, or CPA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the investment/financial services industry
  • Must be securities licensed as a Registered Representative with CIRO
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or willing to take, an advanced finance or investment qualification such as CFP, CIM, CFA, or CPA, insurance license an asset - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering outstanding client care by proactively addressing client needs and maintaining clear, informative communication regarding account details.
  • Assisting in the management of investment portfolios, executing trades, and ensuring portfolio performance aligns with client goals.
  • Utilizing software tools to prepare and present personalized financial plans.
  • Preparing investment policy statements, proposals, and client review presentations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Designing, monitoring, and rebalancing tailored investment portfolios based on individual risk tolerance, with a focus on maximizing returns.
  • Contributing to research, analysis, asset allocation, and investment product selection with a forward-thinking approach.
  • Executing trades to align with client needs and market conditions.
