JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re hiring a Vice President to join our Home Lending (HL) Servicing Finance Team focused on Revenue Forecasting. Our team serves as a financial and planning resource to help executives manage operations, forecast revenues, and gain insight into the business P&L.
As a Vice President in the Home Lending (HL) Servicing Finance Team, you will be responsible for monitoring the HL Servicing Balance Sheet and supporting Asset Valuation activities. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to partner directly with Servicing business leaders as well as key partners across Home Lending Finance, Controllers and Capital Markets. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be inherently curious, have the ability to use data and information to solve business challenges, strong financial, analytical and technical skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions or stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop forecast for HL Servicing portfolio for monthly and annual budget cycles
  • Develop forecast for HL Servicing revenue for monthly and annual budget cycles
  • Analyze reporting on Servicing revenue and balances; understand key drivers of period-to-period changes and provide insights to management, including variance commentary
  • Participate in ongoing initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the forecasting process, inclusive of automation
  • Collaborate closely with the Controllers and Capital Markets team to ensure alignment and accuracy of Mortgage Servicing Rights (MSR) model assumptions and valuation versus actual business results
  • Conduct and problem solve ad hoc financial analysis based on senior management requests (e.g. buy/sell economics, profitability sensitivities, etc.)
  • Perform accurate month-end close process including variance analysis
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure a strong control environment

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in finance, risk, or other related area
  • BA / BS degree in Business, Finance, or other quantitative field with fundamental understanding of Accounting principles
  • Ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze data to support hypotheses and develop actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results highlighting broad strategic impact
  • Strong team player with self-starting motivation and flexible work style
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and key add-ons, e.g. PitchPro.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Essbase
  • Ability to query business intelligence tools or experience with data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Tableau, Alteryx)
  • Experience in retail home lending/financial services industry
