Description:

Responsible for various reconciliations and issue resolutions with university revenue streams including the Barnes and Noble excess aid process, semester meal plan audits, monthly student account reconciliations, agency fund depositories, joint BSE and DNP programs, ESL program, and the student store for international trips. Responsible for entries to the general and operating ledgers regarding university BankCard charges, university TravelCard charges, fitness center payroll deductions, loan fund investment interest distribution, and university merchant services charges. Responsible for overseeing all dual enrollment and ESL program registrations and confirmations. Responsible for rectifying all issues with the student application of payments process. Responsible for the supervision of the Business Office Graduate Assistant. Responsible for Business Office processing and review of all graduate assistant PAF’s each semester. Responsible for building detail codes in Banner for the Bursar’s Office to ensure accurate revenue recording with the financial ledgers from student accounts. Assist Director of Financial Services with revenue shares including the 2+2 program, Craft Center, online fees, and TN ecampus each semester. Responsible for assisting Director of Financial Services with deferred revenue process for fiscal year end reporting and audited financial statements. Serves as a backup/additional staff for accounts receivable during extended absences and peak registrations seasons.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in accounting or related field. Working knowledge of accounting and accounting entries. Ability to maintain professional demeanor. Ability to multi-task and manage in a fast paced environment. Excellent mathematical and procedural analytical skills. Effective time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Accounts receivable experience. Higher education experience. Working knowledge of Ellucian Banner and TouchNet Payment Systems.
Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Additional hours if/when needed.
