JOB DESCRIPTION

This critical job posting for a Finance Analyst will be responsible for ConMed Canada’s monthly Financial Reporting and performance analysis, sales tracings and reconciliation, and supporting in month-end close activities. This individual will play an important role in improving ConMed Canada’s brand performance dashboards, reporting processes, and distributor tracings to ensure Sales & Marketing are making informed decisions. To accomplish this, the successful candidate will be required to be detail oriented and a quick learner to understand ConMed’s financial tools and gain expertise in ConMed’s financial systems. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to a growing & thriving Finance Team at ConMed Canada that is always striving to optimize financial performance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, or a similar role.
  • Oracle experience is an asset
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Ability to handle stress well and communicate with customers and employees in professional manner
  • Capability to quickly learn new ERP System (ie. Oracle)
  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

Reporting:

  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and brand performance reporting
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making
  • Continuously improve financial processes, dashboards and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Tracings & Reconciliation

  • Analyze distributor tracings reports and work with Contracts team to reconcile on a monthly basis
  • Work with distributors to adjust pricing based on reconciliation
  • Upload tracings file into Oracle to accurately reflect Sales by customer and product on a monthly basis

Other:

  • Calculate distributor rebates and upload quarterly rebate adjustments
  • Process Weekly Expense reimbursement Payments
  • Month end closing entries and reconciliation
  • Customer sales assignment
  • Assist in preparation of Budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist in auditing the Annual inventory count
