THE OPPORTUNITY
This position works out of our Austin TX location in the Electrophysiology Medical Device Division. In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
We’re seeking a high caliber Financial Analyst to join our team in our Austin, TX location. Primary responsibilities for this role include (1) providing compensation analysis and support for the US Commercial leadership team, (2) budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc requests for the US Commercial team, and (3) various additional projects and ad hoc requests from leadership. You will have an intimate understanding of the activity and analyses being produced to be able to speak knowledgably when answering questions from leadership. You will also be responsible for preparing financial presentation content for leadership meetings, participate in various projects or tasks, assists with monthly financial closing activities, as well as preparing financial models, ad hoc analysis, and presentations supporting the US commercial team.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study
- 2+ years’ experience in finance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Systems experience with Excel, SAP, Hyperion/Essbase preferred.
