Provide advanced technical support and demos, along with developing and maintaining Forbury’s Excel-based products.
Reporting to the Head of Product – Forbury, the Financial Analyst is passionate about data, software development, technology, and supporting employees. As a Financial Analyst, you will be involved in developing, maintaining, and testing existing Forbury Excel products, including building detailed technical knowledge of the models and implementing product fixes. You will also participate in designing, developing, and testing new products, providing advanced technical support, and creating user-friendly dashboards and insights from system data to support various team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and test existing Forbury Excel products.
• Build detailed technical knowledge of the existing Excel-based Commercial & Retail models.
• Deliver new and enhanced features to existing Forbury Excel products.
• Implement product fixes and bug patches to ensure optimal functionality.
• Participate actively in new product scoping sessions, providing technical insights and expertise.
• Design and implement sophisticated automated testing procedures to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Assist with the development of new Excel-based valuation models tailored to different real estate markets or sectors.
• Respond to and resolve advanced technical product support requests.
• Assist Sales representatives to demonstrate technical capabilities of existing products to potential customers.
• Create user-friendly dashboards and insights from system data using SQL.

Key Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field
• Advanced knowledge and expertise in using Microsoft Excel.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in an analytical or product development/testing role, or in commercial real estate valuations, transactions, or modeling roles.
• Knowledge of SQL and CFA qualification (any level) would be a plus.
• Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
• Must have full working rights to work in Australia
