WE ARE HIRING AT VALSOFT FOR AN EXPERIENCED AND DYNAMIC FINANCIAL ANALYST TO JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM IN MONTREAL!
As a Financial Analyst, you will be supporting the finance department by performing a variety of accounting/finance tasks to support accurate financial reporting and analysis, as well as assisting with preparing financial reports and analyzing financial data. The selected candidate will be based in Montreal, working in a hybrid setting that combines remote work and in-office presence at our location in Saint-Laurent.

Responsibilities:
- Assist and support in the completion of audit engagements and compliance requirements
- Tax/Annual filing
- Assist senior analysts and controllers in preparing financial forecasts and budgets
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the controller
About You:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is essential
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Excel an asset
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English is essential
- Legally authorised to work in Canada
