Description:
OVERVIEW
Pillway Pharmacy is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Brampton, Ontario. This role is integral to the management of our financial operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The successful candidate will also demonstrate flexibility in supporting various projects as needed, contributing to our dynamic and evolving business environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA) or working towards it is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (Quickbooks Online preferred), with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Legal eligibility to work in Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Operations Management: Oversee and manage the daily operations of AP and AR, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing of transactions.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and maintenance of the company’s budget and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support business decisions.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis as required, interpreting data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the company’s financial operations.
- Project Support: Display flexibility and adaptability in supporting various cross-functional projects, contributing financial expertise to achieve project objectives.
