THE OPPORTUNITY
The Revenue and Financial Services Branch is seeking an individual with proven interpersonal and analytical skills and knowledge of accounting and financial management frameworks, principles, techniques, and practices for a challenging permanent full-time Financial Analyst position in Regina.
Reporting to the Manager of Revenue Billing and Collections you will:
- Perform financial analysis after each monthly billing and prepare financial reports for external stakeholders;
- Verify the accuracy of the returns filed by the producers;
- Provide senior level accounting and financial advice to management regarding accounting options, changes to accounting standards, financial administration policies/guidelines/directives, and internal controls; and,
- Manage/Administer financial systems, examine financial records, coordinate the preparation/reporting of financial information (e.g., statements, reports etc.), and contribute to the development of new accounting/financial policies, processes, systems, standards, or controls.
