We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically advanced Excel skills
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills with attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in PCLaw
  • Experience completing wire transfers and financial reconciliation

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly reporting to partners including accounts receivable and unbilled disbursements
  • Assist with processing accounts payable, reconciliations and liaison with vendors
  • Assist with monthly accounting close process including preparing journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist with preparing working paper files for external accountants
  • Prepare and maintain client trust reporting of over 300 accounts in Excel including incoming cheques, wire transfers, NSF cheques, and deposit releases
  • Prepare wire transfers for partner approval
  • Act as liaison with accounting and condominium teams to ensure deposit accuracy for each project
  • Support Controller with ad hoc financial analysis including ROI calculations, business cases, productivity analysis, and vendor management projects
  • Support COO and Controller on upcoming projects including accounting system conversion, balance scorecard development, and financial KPI review
    *All other duties as assigned
