Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
The Financial Analyst II will play a pivotal role in providing budgetary support, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The position supports the effective operation and maintenance of facilities and property assets, particularly within the Office of Tribal Leases, the OFPSM Budget Office, and other Indian Affairs offices.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide financial administrative support for planning, tracking, analysis, and execution of funding.
- Utilize industry and government best practices and standards (e.g., FAR, DFAR, JTR, FIRMR, DoD5000).
- Support contract execution, purchase orders, and task orders to ensure timely funding obligations.
- Populate budget and financial information for executive-level presentations.
- Track fund execution, including commitments, obligations, and expenditures, and generate reports.
- Support the formulation of strategic financial plans and prepare related documentation.
- Analyze and reconcile spend plans with financial data to create executable budgets.
