FINANCIAL ANALYST III

As a key player on our dynamic team, you’ll collaborate with and assist various groups with strategic planning and financial decision-making.
This is a senior-level role that requires a thorough knowledge of pertinent policies and procedures to assist with the management of financial programs and a high volume of complex financial functions. In this role, you will:
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data to guide decision-making across the organization.
- Read, interpret, and analyze income statements.
- Forecast anticipated expenses and make recommendations.
- Create, manage, and refine budgets to align with department goals.
- Present clear, actionable financial insights to department leaders and managers.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with travel and procurement policies.
- Enter and approve payments in the State’s accounting system.
- Research and reconcile data discrepancies and present findings to senior management.
