Description:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Strong MS Excel experience.
  • Experience with SAP, BAAN, or other ERP applications a plus.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams.
  • Willingness to learn new concepts and analyze large data sets.
  • Outstanding social skills with a willingness to multi-task.
  • Builds alliances and credibility across all functions, including Operations, Human Resources, Traffic/Logistics, and Sourcing.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver monthly financial close activities, ensuring accurate analysis of variances and reporting of results to leadership/management.
  • Perform monthly analysis of general ledger account variances and reconcile changes.
  • Assist in preparation for and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement at the site for the utilization of Supply Connect and the AP Process.
  • Actively participate on operational teams to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend adjustments to the general ledger based on supportable information.
  • Assess the current Financial Information Management Database and assist with uploading and extracting financial information.
  • Collaborate with all levels of management to accumulate, analyze, and communicate recommendations regarding financial plans and operating forecasts.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, detailing key business metrics and underlying business drivers causing variances.
  • Actively participate in initiatives to improve execution and operational performance.
  • Assist with the development and presentation of monthly site reviews and the annual budget.
  • Assist with the monthly review and analysis of inventory and development of forecast and measurement processes.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to ensure completeness of data, coordination of reporting, and support the annual Physical Inventory process.
  • Actively participate in PPI-Lean and continuous improvement activities
