SUMMARY:

The Financial Analyst supports the Assistant Controller in providing financial guidance to management and program managers, in order to improve and optimize current financial measurement metrics. The Financial Analyst demonstrates a commitment to customer service and works collaboratively with the finance and management teams to analyze overall business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain project based financial measurement processes
  • Provide financial guidance to management and program managers
  • Work with managers to create program budgets and schedules
  • Perform/assist in work plan reconciliation and reporting
  • Provide weekly/monthly financial status updates to the Controller
  • Review current financial metrics for improvement and optimization
  • Research and implement cost savings strategies
  • Support the Controller & Contracts Manager in organizing and creating proposals, purchase orders, and RFQs.
  • Ad hoc duties (i.e. revenue projections, market research, and budgeting etc.)
  • Oversee all aspects of program finance tasks
