KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

  • Experience of 4 / 5 years in similar role
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Able to effectively communicate with team members and business stakeholders
  • Curiosity and analytical thinking – ask questions, dig into data, make connections, look beyond specific tasks to understand further impacts
  • Team orientation - work across finance and accounting teams and actively share data with others
  • Attention to detail
  • Expert XL user, ideally familiar with ESSbase, Oracle and Tableau
  • Self motivated

IN ADDITION, PREFERABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Inventory or cost accounting
  • Comfortable presenting to senior managers
  • Experience implementing new reporting and/or working on finance related IT projects

Responsibilities:

The Supply Chain Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Supply Chain finance team which assists the company to project and manage inventory. This role is located in Cork, Ireland and the initial focus will be on inventory analysis, however, there is opportunity to grow and take on additional responsibilities within Supply Chain finance.

  • Partner with supply planning business team to analyse and report on inventory levels in forecast scenarios
  • Produce monthly reporting of inventory in a timely manner, respect the deadlines, ensure data quality, and communicate effectively
  • Create financial reports and communicate information to supply chain finance, accounting teams, and business teams
  • Look at risks and opportunities during scenario modeling
  • Support business partners with inventory reserves forecasting
  • Identify process efficiencies and data/ reporting enhancements within scope of responsibility
  • Take on ad hoc projects spanning diverse groups and/or stakeholders
