Description:

JOB SCOPE:

The Financial Analyst will lead the effort to organize the relationship of business results with business planning. The position is expected to analyze information quickly, identify errors, and communicate with department heads in a coordinated effort. The role is defined in two areas: Financial Analyst and Cost Accounting. These functions include inputting and processing accounts, general ledger activity, balance sheet reconciliation, and other related functions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office and the ability to rapidly learn different software applications
  • Attention to detail.
  • Thinker and not transactional
  • Easygoing but driven to work autonomously.
  • Able to effectively manage relationships with other departments and people (Systems, and Crushing)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; CPA is preferred but not necessary.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of relevant experience in the relationship of business figures, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Get up to speed with department and positional duties within 6 months and have a noticeable impact on the team.
Analyze costs in WIP accounts and Apply “percent-complete” accounting to Systems activity.
Create and hold an active role in inventory analysis.
Use of analytical skills to review and account for operational transactions across multiple companies.

Secondary Duties:

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
