JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Momos Finance team is looking for a hustler to work closely with our Founders to kickstart our FP&A function and will be responsible for everything from financial planning and analysis, to processing payments and managing the books. You will be the first outside finance hire, and as a result, will get a chance to look after everything in the organization.
We’re looking for an individual to come into this role to have integrity, excellent mathematical and accounting skill, and also a hustler mentality. We’re an early-stage startup so we want to hire someone who can grow alongside us, and make a significant impact as an early hire of the finance team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of progressive working experience at a Big 4 Accounting firm, tech startup, or other similar environment with exposure to project accounting, financial management including budgeting, planning and analysis.
  • Degree in Commerce/Business Accounting.
  • At least CPA part I or II or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Understanding of finance records reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hustler, first and foremost.
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
  • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
  • Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements.
  • Manage collections and accounts payables / receivables
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
  • Preparation of supporting documentation for internal and regulatory audits.
  • Reviewing and performing audits on financial statements and reports.
  • Overall financial statement management
