JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Capital Markets team at Newmark. The ideal candidate will possess some experience in financial analysis, with proficiency in both Argus and Excel. This role is integral in providing insightful financial evaluations and strategic recommendations to support our Office and Multifamily Capital Markets platform.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or other related fields
  • GSE Experience a plusAble to travel minimum of 10-20%

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the commercial real estate industry.
  • Experience in Argus and Excel; experience with other financial software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Salary : $65,000 - $85,000 annually
    The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $85,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling using Argus and Excel.
  • Evaluate and analyze office and multifamily commercial real estate properties and portfolios.
  • Assist in producing offering memorandums, broker opinions of value, and compile rent and sale comparable.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with client investment and acquisitions teams to support decision-making.
  • Monitor market trends and perform risk assessments.
