Join our Prospera team this year as a Financial Analyst at our Surrey Corporate Office. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, the Financial Analyst, is responsible in providing Finance support services including management reporting, decision support, modelling and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development. The Financial Analyst will also assist, as needed, in preparing the ongoing planning processes
Responsibilities:
Reporting: Supports preparation of financial statements, operational, and regulatory reports, ensuring all requirements are met. Develop ad hoc reports as needed for internal and external stakeholders.
Business Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with business units to understand their impact on financial statements.
Analysis: Create financial models by to assess revenues, costs, and key drivers. Gather data to provide insightful analysis and monitor trends and KPIs.
Forecasting/Budgeting: Support business managers with annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy by incorporating key assumptions, monthly accruals, and trend analysis.
Other Duties: Act as a change agent for continuous improvement, assist with month/year-end reporting, provide audit support, and perform other tasks as assigned.
