Financial Analyst

We are seeking a contract (ideally contract to hire) Financial Analyst to join a dynamic company located in Raleigh, North Carolina. This contract role involves providing detailed analyses, revenue calculations, accruals, and supporting business budgeting activities. This contract role is 100% onsite in Raleigh.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (finance, accounting, business administration or related field).
2-5 years finance/accounting experience, including revenue recognition and accruals
Highly proficient with Excel required. NetSuite experience preferred
Strong attention to detail with intensity around producing high quality products and meeting deadlines
Knowledge of income statement and experience with accounting accruals

Provide detailed analysis, reporting and financial accuracy for revenue and cost of revenue
Process cost accruals for monthly accounting close
Calculate weekly revenue estimates
Perform monthly variance analysis of budgeted, forecasted and actual financial performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including running monthly meetings
Support the business on annual budgeting
