We are offering an exciting opportunity in the service industry located in Cypress, Texas. The role is focused on a Financial Analyst position, where the successful candidate will be responsible for understanding, analyzing, and interpreting financial data, as well as streamlining workflow processes. • Analyze and understand billing exception reports, focusing on areas where revenue stream is lacking.
• Work collaboratively with teammates and management to identify and address business issues and initiatives.
• Consolidate and interpret billing data by assigned area.
• Prepare reports complete with charts and graphs for use in board presentations.
• Develop and implement efficient workflow processes.
• Assist with rate case projects and other assigned tasks.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
• Enhance and maintain financial analysis skills.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a related financial analyst role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
• Proven experience in financial analysis
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data
• Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments
• Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and professionalism
• Knowledge of financial strategies for new business development.
