Description:
We are offering an exciting opportunity in the service industry located in Cypress, Texas. The role is focused on a Financial Analyst position, where the successful candidate will be responsible for understanding, analyzing, and interpreting financial data, as well as streamlining workflow processes. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand billing exception reports, focusing on areas where revenue stream is lacking.
- Work collaboratively with teammates and management to identify and address business issues and initiatives.
- Consolidate and interpret billing data by assigned area.
- Prepare reports complete with charts and graphs for use in board presentations.
- Develop and implement efficient workflow processes.
- Assist with rate case projects and other assigned tasks.
- Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
- Enhance and maintain financial analysis skills.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a related financial analyst role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
- Proven experience in financial analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial data
- Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments
- Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and professionalism
- Knowledge of financial strategies for new business development.
