Description:

Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Financial Analyst position with a growing specialty healthcare organization in Reno. The person in the role will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of areas and responsibilities, including:
o Creating and analyzing month end reports by running queries
o Creating/maintaining financial and clinical dashboard
o Rates Analysis
o Performing daily/monthly activity tracking duties related to a variety of medical services/areas.
o Variance Analysis
o Maintenance of financial system

The ideal candidate for this role will have a BS Degree in Finance/Accounting/Econ with at least 1 year of experience in accounting or as a financial analyst. At least intermediate Excel skills are necessary and some savvy around data mining is definitely beneficial. The company offers opportunity for growth and a solid benefits and compensation package.   • Possess some experience in accounting or a financial analytics role.
  • At least intermediate skills in MS Excel, including using it to create financial reports and models. Pivot Tables and Look ups are required.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently. Trainability is critical.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required
