Description:
Excellent opportunity for a financial analyst to join a well-established real estate firm where you will work directly with and for the CFO and ownership team. In this financial analyst role, you will be taking responsibilities directly off of the CFO’s desk and assisting with special projects. You will learn a ton in this role and will be able to advance both in title as well as compensation as you grow with the company. Responsibilities:
Financial reporting both internally and externally
Communication with property managers, customers and senior management
Tracking the progress of projects at each of the properties
Working with the banks on financing and funding requirements
Tracking actual performance vs. budget and historical performance
Cash basis accounting for simple accounting entries
- Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
- Proficiency in Financial Analysis is required
- Ability to use Excel Formulas is essential
- Knowledge of General Accounting principles is necessary
- Experience with Account Reconciliation is a plus
- Strong Communication Skills are mandatory
- Ability to Create Presentations effectively is needed
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is highly valued
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
