Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Chatsworth, California. This role is integral to our finance department and requires someone with a strong background in budgeting, reconciliation, and proficiency in excel, specifically pivot tables and vlookup. The individual will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing critical financial expertise to our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support
  • Use accounting software systems and ERP solutions efficiently for financial analysis and reporting
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by analyzing account information
  • Assist in budgeting processes and expense reporting activities
  • Utilize Excel for creating pivot tables and using vlookup function for data analysis
  • Work closely with the finance team to improve financial performance
  • Implement and work with accounting functions for efficient financial management
  • Use ERP solutions for managing and integrating the finance department’s data
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role
  • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of ERP Solutions
  • Experience with ‘About Time’ software is desired
  • Ability to manage all Accounting Functions effectively
  • Familiarity with Budget Processes and Expense Reporting
  • Strong finance skills and ability to manage finance related tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
