Description:
A growing nonprofit is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Financial Analyst to join our finance team. This role is perfect for individuals with a degree in finance who have about a year of relevant experience and are eager to contribute to a dynamic, growing organization. Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of financial reports, models and forecasts.
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions based on sound analysis.
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes for the company.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Broad understanding of financial trends and patterns.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present complex financial data in a concise manner.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
