Description:
We are offering a position for a Financial Analyst in SUNBURY, Pennsylvania. The role is central to the financial management and reporting processes within our organization, with a focus on budgeting, financial reporting, and data analytics. This role entails working closely with various department heads and senior management, providing crucial insights into the financial health and direction of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the annual operating budget process by ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial data
- Prepare financial reports for senior management using various tools and systems including ERP systems, budgeting software, and Microsoft products
- Undertake the documentation and evaluation of current financial processes, recommending improvements and efficiencies where necessary
- Handle data analytic reporting, providing detailed insights into company performance
- Participate in monthly income statement reviews with department heads, providing detailed analysis and feedback
- Communicate with vendors and internal associates to address queries and resolve issues
- Conduct reconciliation and auditing of company records, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Investigate and analyze discrepancies in financial data, recommending resolutions and escalating issues as needed
- Assist with company projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Develop reports for internal or external use as required, ensuring they accurately reflect company performance and projections
- Show initiative in identifying efficiencies in process flow, recommending improvements where necessary.
4 Year Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.
2 plus years of experience in a field of accounting or finance
