Description:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance or equivalent specialized coursework and training
- At least 2 years of experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Advanced Excel skills
- Solid analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with Fiserv Prologue Financials is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Gather data and perform analyses in support of the production of balance sheet and net interest income forecasts and related liquidity and interest rate risk.
- Coordinate asset/liability management processes including but not limited to interest rate risk and liquidity modeling and Asset/Liability Committee (ALCO) reports.
- Prepare rolling cash forecasts to support the management of daily cash position in adherence to policy and balance sheet strategy.
- Assists in management of the credit union’s investment portfolio including but not limited to pre-purchase analysis, accounting, and management/regulatory reporting.
- Maintain and update Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) model in coordination with lending staff, documenting reasons for impact on the overall allowance.
- Analyzes the credit union’s operating budget monthly and provides reports to management identifying key variances to budget and historical trend.
- Analyzes current and past financial data in comparison with peers and report findings to management.
- Performs profitability analyses for existing and new products and services.
- Supports marketing and business segment efforts to monitor and manage member, branch, and business segment profitability.
- Generates various financial and regulatory reports pertaining to the credit union’s investment portfolio, overall budget and financial performance on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Keep abreast of accounting, regulatory, tax, audit and industry developments. Assesses impact on accounting and financial management operations and participates in decisions regarding these developments.
