Description:
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst, Sr, located in Juno Beach, Florida. This role operates within the financial services industry, and the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting complex financial analyses, evaluating the impact of strategic decisions, and interfacing with various company departments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complex financial analyses to maximize the company’s financial performance.
- Evaluate the impact of environmental and/or business issues on the company’s financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position.
- Analyze the impact of strategic and tactical resource allocation plans on the company’s financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position.
- Understand and utilize financial and accounting systems and concepts for problem-solving.
- Conduct credit analysis and make recommendations on short and long-term financing decisions.
- Interface with Regulatory Finance and Accounting areas of the company.
- Serve as a mentor and guide to others within the team.
- Handle varied and complex projects and tasks.
- Work with suppliers and staffing to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure validation of financial plans and perform ad hoc financial procedures as required.
- Must hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related technical field
- CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- Experience in the financial services industry required
- Proficiency in financial planning processes and procedures
- Strong understanding of accounting systems and interfaces
- Knowledge of credit analysis would be advantageous
- Familiarity with financial performance evaluation and resource allocation
- Proven experience with onboarding and staffing procedures
- Ability to work onsite and manage an expense account
- Skilled in performing ad hoc financial functions
- Experience working with suppliers and business units
- Knowledge of NIS, Nerc, and Cyber systems would be beneficial
- Ability to draft and execute validation plans
- Familiarity with contingent workforce management
- Comfortable with commission functions.
