Description:

The Financial Analyst supports the Financial Planning Department and plays a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and support to assist in decision-making processes at St. Jude. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, forecasting future trends, and working closely with various departments to provide valuable financial information.

This is a hybrid work schedule consisting of 3 days on-site

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field of study required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum Requirement: 2+ years of experience in management/administration of financial/budgetary processes, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Some experience in healthcare finance and accounting involving budget development preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform financial analysis, under supervision, by utilizing appropriate financial tools.
  • Prepare analysis of revenue and expenses by modelling changes in key variables.
  • Actively support during the monthly closure, quarterly forecast, and annual budget processes for the department.
  • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of compliance with contract policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
