KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND BEHAVIOURS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Mandatory Advanced skills within a Windows environment for all Microsoft office products including Sharepoint, Excel and other software as needed
  • A thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Develop/ write and maintain various reports by using various tools available e.g. GC-MYOR and Workday
  • A thorough understanding of ERP setup and maintenance
  • Mandatory University Degree, in Business, Commerce or Finance and enrolment in a financial designation
  • Demonstrated commitment to client and family centred care

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support and lead financial reporting and analysis for various business units.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
  • You will lead and assist with month end journal entries and preparation of the financial statements.
  • Maintain integrity of the general ledger (GL) by preparing the monthly account reconciliations.
  • Creation and maintenance of Goldcare mapping to Workday by assigning proper worktags, Ledger account.
  • Maintenance of GL Chart of accounts
  • You will liaise and support the business unit managers throughout the organization.
  • Provide back-up coverage for Accounts Payable as needed.
  • As part of the financial analyst team, you will also participate in other projects as needed.
