JOB DESCRIPTION: FINANCIAL ANALYST

Location: Waterloo, Ontario
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 CAD
Employment Type: Full-time, In-office

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for business improvement.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support decision-making.
• Prepare regular financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Utilize Power BI and Excel to create dashboards and visualizations for key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support budgeting, planning, and performance analysis activities.
