Overview:
Waters is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team in Wexford.
The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting with emphasis on journal entry, reconciliations, month end processes and internal controls.
The person must have good attention to detail and be capable of working as part of a global team. The position will provide opportunities for knowledge development across a wide range of areas in Corporate Finance.
Responsibilities:
The Financial Analyst position has responsibilities including:
- Processing of accounting entries in SAP.
- Preparation of month-end balance sheet reconciliations through Blackline.
- Ensuring adherence to internal controls.
- Dealing with audit queries.
- Completion of externally required reporting including CSO, VAT, VIES and Intrastat.
- Support of intercompany AP/AR.
- Foreign exchange analysis.
- Implementing improvements to processes and design of best practices.

Knowledge, Education and Experience
- Part-qualified accountant or accounting technician with relevant experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- SAP experience.
