Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.
We operate or own equity interests in assets in the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, and Texas, including approximately 16,000 miles of petroleum and natural gas pipelines and over 100 gathering, treating, and processing facilities.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is located in The Woodlands, Texas and will be a part of the Midstream Commercial Strategy Team. The Financial Analyst will provide analysis, interpretation, support and guidance, related to current and potential business development and strategic opportunities in the Delaware Basin by working closely with the Commercial, Financial Planning, and Infrastructure Planning teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry or related experience

EDUCATION

Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Business Administration or Engineering

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel is not usually required

Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis of commercial development and strategic opportunities
  • Create and evaluate type curves and production forecasts
  • Maintain throughput forecasts for the Delaware Basin (oil, gas, and water)
  • Manage periodic reporting processes and drive improvements and efficiencies
  • Run various economic analyses including break-even analysis, IRR, NPV, etc.
  • Research, analyze, and compile competitive intelligence on customers and competitors
  • Provide financial statement analysis on customers and competitors
  • Monitor M&A activity in the Delaware Basin
