UCL Finance is divided into 5 Directorates: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting, Treasury management and sustainable investments, and Financial Services. Together they are responsible for the management of UCL’s financial performance and strategy and for the provision of services and advice.
The role is based in the FP&A team. The Directorate leads on financial planning, internal management reporting and compliance reporting to our regulators, analysis and modelling. FP&A plays a critical role in helping to set the strategic direction for our University.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a newly created role created to strengthen UCL’s cashflow forecasting and reporting. The role provides a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference within a world leading organisation.
UCL is a large and complex organisation with a turnover of c.£2bn. We have ambitious and exciting plans for our future forecasts. In this job you’ll work closely with the Head of Financial Planning and Director of FP&A, and with colleagues across Finance, to ensure that UCL’s cashflow forecasting and reporting supports strategic decision making.
You’ll optimise the understanding, review and building of cashflow modelling across the organisation, ensuring alignment to the regular re-forecasting exercises and budget. You’ll also provide support for relevant linked processes such as the Treasury function output, Working Capital assumptions and UCL’s Investment Strategy.
Furthermore, you’ll lead on the monitoring of the UCL cashflow position against the Financial Strategy at the key budget, forecast and year-end events as well as relevant intervals such as month end.
