This full-time position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. Responsibilities:

· You will be responsible for the Financial and Tax Accounting and Analysis of a number of entities. You will also be involved in a range of projects and assist with analysis and budget preparation.
· Management Reporting - Assist in preparation of tables and analysis of results. Continuous process improvements and projects related to business improvement
· Assist with preparation of budget. Provide assistance to business in managing the day-to-day financial performance of the business, GST, FBT and Income Tax reporting and returns.
· General ledger maintenance and reconciliation. Managing lodgment deadlines and organizing and maintaining records of tax payments. Balance Sheet Reconciliation preparation and follow up.

· Conduct detailed analysis of actuals against budgets and provide detailed commentary to key stakeholders

  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of audit-ready financial reports
  • Manage and develop the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  • Collaborate with other departments to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial systems to enhance efficiency and transparency
