Description:

Bloomsbury Football is a grassroots football charity impacting over 5,000 young lives each week. With our inclusive financial assistance model, we ensure that no one is turned away, welcoming young people aged 18 months to 18 years, regardless of their ability to pay or play.
We harness the power of football to enhance physical and mental health and improve life chances for young people in the city’s most disadvantaged areas. Our innovative step model engages previously inactive youth through free programs in schools, community centres, and housing estates, paving the way for them to participate in our dynamic extracurricular activities during evenings and weekends.
Our dedicated coaches foster long-term relationships, empowering at-risk children to build confidence and essential life skills in a supportive team environment. With 73% of our community households classified as ‘income-deprived,’ and over half of our beneficiaries receiving income-dependent free school meals, our mission is vital.
Since our founding in 2018, we’ve expanded our reach across six boroughs, aiming to support 20,000 young people each week by 2028.
