CPS does this through providing high-quality, fit-for-purpose operational support in the areas of HR, IT, Finance, Risk, Legal, Tax, Insurances, Facilities, Travel, Procurement, Security, Project Management, and Reporting. CPS dedicates most of its work to the support of Porticus, Laudes Foundation and Investment Office.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our international group with subsidiaries in several countries. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, maintain compliance with local and international regulations, and support our strategic financial goals. You will work with highly motivated professionals who are working towards a just and sustainable future.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Controlling. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Several years of well-rounded financial controller experience in an international environment or equivalent practical experience.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and consolidation.
  • Familiar with ICS.
  • Ability to look at business processes with a holistic view from an End-to-End perspective.
  • Good presentation, reporting and communication skills to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Must have full working rights in Switzerland
  • Must be based in Zug or willing to commute at least 2 times per week.

Reports to: Director of Finance

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Consolidation:
  • Manage the consolidation of financial statements from multiple subsidiaries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Prepare and present consolidated financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls:
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any findings promptly.
  • Cash Flow and Financial Management:
  • Manage cash flow, funding, and financial risks across all subsidiaries.
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity to meet the company’s short-term and long-term obligations.
  • Develop strategies to optimize the company’s financial position.
  • Cross-Border Coordination:
  • Handle cross-border transactions and ensure proper reconciliation and elimination of intercompany transactions.
  • Provide guidance and support to local accounting teams on complex financial issues.
  • Standardize accounting procedures and policies across all subsidiaries.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor local accounting teams, ensuring they are well-trained and aligned with the overall financial strategy.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Key interactions:
  • Local accounting teams: Regularly interacts with local accounting mangers to ensure oversight, alignment and support .
  • Internal Audit: Works closely with the internal audit to ensure robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Works closely with the Director of Finance and FP&A Team to ensure the financial stability and strategic goals of the organisation are met.
