Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Montreal. This role will play a key part in managing the company’s Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), bank procedures, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in finance and accounting, a high attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire AR and AP functions, ensuring accuracy, timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Develop and maintain bank procedures to ensure the security and accuracy of transactions, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of all tax returns and related documentation.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate month-end and year-end financial closings.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Monitor and improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures in alignment with company goals.
