Description:
YOUR NEW COMPANY
Your new company is an international engineering firm with a presence in over 30 countries across the globe. Having set up a new office in Ireland last year, they are looking to scale up their Irish business and are hiring a Financial Controller to help them grow and streamline at a pivotal point.
It’s a small office in Dublin so they need someone who is happy to be hands on and can integrate well into the company culture which is friendly and supportive. You will benefit from hybrid working 3 days in office in the city centre and 2 days from home.
Your new roleYou will report directly to the General Manager of the Irish business and your role will involve:
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in different entities and countries across the wider group
- Lead the integration of a newly acquired company into the group - managing relationships, streamlining processes, manage system migration, build out reporting templates
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting for subsidiary company, reporting into parent company of group
- Ensure full compliance across statutory audit
- Responsible for all tax compliance - VAT, Corporation Tax etc
- Liaising with project managers to track and report on projects
Responsibilities:
