KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • University/College Degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional accounting qualification would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in similar position
  • Good command of English (both verbal and written)
  • Solid knowledge of local accounting rules and IFRS
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, month- and year- end closing and audit
  • MS Office knowledge, particularly in Excel
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Detail-oriented, numerical and analytical

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead integration of newly acquired entities to align with IFRS and TMF Group accounting policy and procedures
  • Ensure delivery of high quality financial data and efficient period end closing process
  • Review accounts reconciliation and month-end closing entries, such as fixed asset depreciation, prepaid expenses, accruals, IFRS adjustments, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS for group reporting
  • Maintain reconciliation between local statutory reporting and group reporting
  • Perform review of monthly financial reports and ensure these are submitted in accordance with the group reporting deadlines
  • Lead the statutory audit/liaise with external auditor for assigned entities
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviations
  • Conduct continuous review of reports and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Develop, coach, and provide guidance to junior team member
  • Assist regional finance team with projects related to APAC region
