KEY REQUIREMENTS
- University/College Degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional accounting qualification would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar position
- Good command of English (both verbal and written)
- Solid knowledge of local accounting rules and IFRS
- Strong experience in financial reporting, month- and year- end closing and audit
- MS Office knowledge, particularly in Excel
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented, numerical and analytical
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead integration of newly acquired entities to align with IFRS and TMF Group accounting policy and procedures
- Ensure delivery of high quality financial data and efficient period end closing process
- Review accounts reconciliation and month-end closing entries, such as fixed asset depreciation, prepaid expenses, accruals, IFRS adjustments, etc.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS for group reporting
- Maintain reconciliation between local statutory reporting and group reporting
- Perform review of monthly financial reports and ensure these are submitted in accordance with the group reporting deadlines
- Lead the statutory audit/liaise with external auditor for assigned entities
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviations
- Conduct continuous review of reports and identify opportunities for improvements
- Develop, coach, and provide guidance to junior team member
- Assist regional finance team with projects related to APAC region
